Hey guys, i'm New at this forum and my english is pretty bad.
Going straight to the problem: I have a RVL-001(EUR) Nintendo Wii that runs games in my external Hard Drive using a 10 years old case which needs a Power plug to work.
Since I wanted to make my setup looks cleaner, I bought a generic case for my 2.5 inch HD that doesn't need a Power plug to work.
It worked just fine with my PC, but when i connect It in my Wii USB loader gx shows "waiting for HDD: 5 seconds" and then show go to Channel mode.
Should i search a compatible case and buy It? I already tried changing USB ports and some other things.

You should get a Y-cable and connect it to the Wii, it's because the hdd is not getting enough power with that cable you're using, with the y-cable it should fix the issue.
