Hacking wii 3.4u

i recently got hbc and i cant install wads (error ret= -2011) so now im just playing other games, but id like to have smash again. any help would be appreciated. fyi, i dont wanna downgrade.

to 24 or not to 24?

i worry that if i have wc24 on, the hbc will die, so should i have it on?

i easily work around this by turning it on when i need to' then shutting it off again.

its a bit of a hassle, but since i heard hbc was unrouched by 3.4u, i was wondering if i shogld leave 24 on. also, i dont leave the sd in the slot (r4ds reasons).

Follow my guide, and stop before cIOS downgrader. That should fix it.

Keeping WC24 on while the wii is on 3.4 is not a good idea thanks to nintendo's new policies. You could downgrade, but it seems like you don't want to. Then just do what emporer said and turn off WC24.
