So recently, I've gotten into 3DS homebrew development with C++ and have found it quite enjoyable (I used to exclusively use Python with 3ds_monty). However, I have noticed that all of the good 2D graphics libraries have been deprecated, such as PP2D and SF2DLib. Although SF2DLib is deprecated, I still use it and have found it quite easy to use as I have no experience with Citro3D and have no clue where to start there. I've also run into an issue trying to compile SFTDLib's sample where the BZIP2 references aren't referenced with the compiler (Please excuse any bad wording there as it's 1:42 AM). That's not the point of this though. The point of this thread is to maybe shed light onto the reason as to why there aren't any 2D graphics libraries that aren't deprecated. Thanks for reading and if someone can shed light onto my issue whilst shedding light onto the question at hand, that would be greatly appreciated.
