2/ how's is the noise of the system when running disc games is it comparable to ps3 slim and Xbox slim?

3/ can you pictures from the sd cards like the old wii ( I.e does it have a photo channel)?

3 Updates in 24hrs (Nov30) mine has done and the last has the Freeze Bug,
Lucky for the info here Saying "Turn of Wifi" because of MiiUniverse

Just bought mine, zombie U pack (my seller only had two zombie U left + one white). :)

Updating right now... (and for a good while I think).

I've got mine as well. And boy, it's a good story...

So...with yesterday not being 24/7 gaming, I decided to watch some extra credits video. Most recent one (about preservation of games) somewhat mentions that every artist knows the 'starry nights' painting, but not the classic games. I had to hand it to them: I'm the same (I knew none of those games mentioned...and only one by name).

Anyway...reading all the stories and my local game shop not having enough, I somewhat expected all other stores to be sold out either. So when I visited the shopping mall on my bike, I was more looking for other things. Like a poster for the apartment I'll be moving into in some weeks. And amongst the posters...A 3D poster of starry nights. In a frame, so it couldn't be folded.
Of course I took it. It was the last one, and...it's a fucking beautiful image. I had my backpack with me, but it was too big for it. Meh...that's okay. It's inconvenient to carry, but it weighs practically nothing.

The toy store I had visited just earlier was overrun by parents, so I didn't even bother to ask if they had a wiiU. Just because it was nearby, I went to the local electronics store as well.

There was one black wiiU left (and about a dozen white ones). Of course I grabbed it. Some lady and her son wanted to take it from me, but using the poster as a shield and my frustration at work channeling some rage, I managed to knock the mother unconscious and had the child on the run (yeah...nintendo sure brings out the best in all of us).

Still soaking with bloodlust, I went to the cashier and payed for the console. The thing weighed quite a bit, but luckily I had my backpack with me, so...

...it didn't fit. To be more precise: it JUST didn't fit. Which was pretty tough. I had only two items, but handling those on a bike was going to be tricky.

Luckily, the console fitted in the luggage department of my bike (it has these elastic binder thingies...dunno the translation).

So out I went. The trip was only 20 minutes. But there were two things I hadn't counted for:
1. it was cold. Luckily not freezing cold, but not weather you wanted to ride in without gloves. However, gloves diminishes the grip on the wheel so I went without it.
2. wind. There wasn't much of it, but 'not much' still is a factor when holding a poster with frame. I practically sailed the way back.

On a normal day, that would be 'just' a bit exhausting. Falling with your bike isn't fun, but it's not the end of the world.
...But with an over 350 euro console at the back...?

So...yeah. It was some trip. But it was worth it. And the wiiU is updating as we speak. :-)

...

Okay, I admit it. That woman and her son didn't really happen. But the rest is genuine. :)
