Hacking Whitescreen with my R4iSDHC

So, my R4iSDHC just arrived and I installed this Kernel and put it in my DSi XL. Everything worked fine until I tried to boot Pokemon Black 2, which resulted in a black screen. I've searched quite a fair bit and all that came up was dead links and stuff that doesn't work. Can anyone help?

Try another game and see if you have the same problem. Even another dump of pokemon black 2. I have a problem where after dying in Resident Evil DS, it whitescreens. The soft reset combo whitescreens the game too. I don't mind it much though.

Tried Pokemon HeartGold. Seems to have worked.

I having same problem, same things happen to pokemon black. It was working well when i use kernel v3.7. After the new kernel released few days ago and updated it, came out white screen.

Setting your date and time a year back is the only known fix without buying a new card

Yep, I know bro haha. The team from r4isdhc did this because they want you to spend another cash to buy new cards [probably 2017 or 2018]. So far, the only way i know is use retrogamefan custom kernel and dat update to remove the stupid time bomb. afaik, i am not sure about this but i believe extinfo and infolib are responsible for the compatibility of the games. Have you copy the Dat update from the retrogamefan?

you can installed ysmenu to bypass, but ysmenu cant play pokemon black, i not sure why, it will stuck at the beginning scene, used the method from

this allow u to use a different kernel, ysmenu
for kernel 3.7, u can dual boot ysmenu,
for kernel 3.8, u cant dual boot, idk what they have done to the kernel, and pokemon black is not running on 3.8 kernel too.
if u want change your primary kernel to ysmenu, u can modify the ysmenu.nds using hex editor and rename it into r4.dat, source from

for your ease, this is prepatched primany kernel r4.dat for ysmenu.
and i dont think the ysmenu is best running on r4isdhc, just stick back to 3.7 as it has best compatibility

yes bro, i run the ysmenu, and it just cant play pokemon black as it stuck at the beginning scene, i give up and stick back to 3.7
