I want a way to play both nds and gba backups on my ds, and was leaning towards M3 lite perfect + 1gb kingston microsd card +passcard 3. But I was wondering if getting an r4ds or m3simply and another cheaper slot 2 device would be better, and if so, what slot 2 device should I look at? thank you very much

wow, that a lot cheaper:

m3 Lite + passcard = $85
Kingston microsd card = $10
SD card adapter (doesn't come with one) = $15
total: $110 dollars

can you point me in the direction of the ez 3 in 1? (is it the expansion pack?)

Someone said it took around 1-2 minutes to load. It can "hold" one game at a time. I think they're transferred from the MicroSD card, though.

I reasearched it, it holds the games on the microsd card, and used the expansion pack's ram to load them.

I usually tolerant of long load times, but 1-2 minutes is pushing it

wow, how n00b am I, it's write time you guys are talking about, not load time

1-2 minutes for write time isn't that bad. As long as it is able to perfectly emulate and actual GBA cartridge than I'm fine. I'll probably just load FFIV on there and play if I get bored of all my DS games.

My suggestion would be the R4DS for slot1 and an M3 for slot2.

Best of both worlds. Having 2 cards will give you not only more space for your goodies, but more flexibility too.

Use the R4 for DS games and the M3 for GBA and older system emulators.
