Hacking Which USB Loader? What format etc...

Ok I just hacked my Wii with Bannerbomb... And now I need to know which USB Loader to use. Where to put it and how to set up my USB (also where to puts downloaded ISO's etc). And is possible to scrub Wii Iso's yourself and if so how?

All right. Here it comes, you ready?

I personally use Cfg USB loader for my games. It seems to have the least issues between it and USB Loader GX. To install it couldn't be easier, download it here:

and copy the contents of the RAR to your SD root (first folder when you open it on Windows Explorer).

Make sure that you have the latest updates in IOS from Hermes 222/223 etc. installed in order for USB to work properly. I can't remember if I can link the installer, so just google that and youre fine.

To scrub your ISOs you can use Wiiscrubber:

Although it'd be easier just to use this:

When copying your games with this, you can convert to WBFS and save you HDD space (instead of scrubbing them). This program will transfer ISOs, convert them, format your drive for use, download covers for games, and much more.

How do I know if I have the latest updates...? And if I don't how do I get them?

Get the windows modmii program and follow the guide to softmod your wii.
Some steps might already been taken, but it's best to follow the guide like your wii is unmodded.

I just followed a guide... I don't want to follow another. (Unless it tells me how to update ios's )

It will even do more. It will also download all the stuff you need to install them.

Already figured out the Hermes thing . I can't be bothered to go through ModMii. Where do the games go on my USB?

Modmii will tell you. The wbfs folder might be a good candidate.

Your can select U from modmii menu. And follow it's instruction.

I've got it all sorted now. Just was playing Super Paper Mario.
