im getting a ps3 with two games on my b-day in june 13 with two games should i get?

Thats a tough one-there are alot of pretty good games on PS3 you would have to let us know what type of genre your into

Valkyria Chronicles (Strategy)
Final Fantasy 13
3D Dot Game heroes (if you like games like The Legend of Zelda)
Super Street Fighter IV
White Knight Chronicles
Soul Calibur IV
Demon Souls
and Disgea 3
and Alpha Protocol

Looking at your list...your really limiting yourself

you might as well get a 360

I not really into stragety games,btw how do you add friends to your ps3 cause in the home screen ive seen on my cousins ps3 it says friends and i. Have wireless internet so ill be able to play online in modern and red dead. So how do you add friends?

well since some of you guys add their personal favorites here, i'll add some too.

- Eternal Sonata (yep a bonus one, + with the new character and dungeons, more harder that xbox360 version can do)

- Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (well yes, kinda fun. specially a 2player game in 3d mode. most of all its like you can do full jutsu techniques there like walking in the wall, and some splashes effects, everything is in there)

- Valkyrie Chronicles (well i got a japanese one, sorry. But anyway, its still the same franchise game in US. The game is kind fun, Realtime Strategy, almost all of my party are girls in there. dunno why)

- FF13 (not so impressive, but the CG is good. Or maybe i rather buy a BD movie for this. Its 75% CG movies with 25% gameplay, huh)

- Tales of Vesperia (?)

- DMC4 (i just love this game)

- Franchise games of Motor Storm in PS3 (currently there are 2, i love ramming vehicles while you race, lol)

- Fat Princess
- Mortal Combat (PSOne Classic)
- Final Fantasy VII,VIII,IX (PSOne Classic)
- Tekken DR

btw: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is really a good game. Dunno on MW2 which is im not really fond with 1st person games, an i suck on analog sticks as a point for the gun..

hmm you're really limiting yourself with those games Red Dead Redemption is an Awesome game so thats easily the best choice out of the games...I'm not a fan of MW2 and never played Raging Blast or ultimate ninja storm 2...so Red Dead Redemption and any of the 3 is fine...

@dnniwa485 Mortal Kombat isnt a PSone classic its just the classic Mortal Kombat II from SNES/Genesis with online play.

almost unanimous MW2 and RDR but lets be honest MW2 isnt that fun once you prestige and realize its do over time... sad it really is...

RDR is godly though i can throughly recommend FF13

to be honest i have both systems and the 360 is better so if you have one get RDR and MW2 or that avoid FF13 on the 360 its alot worse on the 360

my reccomendation is: Infamous and RDR

Infamous is worth a rent at best. It was short and mediocre.

Thank god I sold it for more than I got it for.

Red Dead Redemption, Demon's Souls or MW2 all will last you sometime.

If you enjoy a difficult game then get Demon's Soul. Its a hack and slash game that is brutally difficult, and you will die a lot in the game.

MW2 should last you awhile with the online game play. It's a fun game online but a bit broken by game breaking cheap ass tactics. Noob tubing, commando knifing, glitches.

Check some youtube videos on the gameplays and see if you like em.
