Hacking Which R4, so confused

We want to get our daughter an R4 to be able to play games on both her DS, & 3DS. I also want to be able to play games on my New 2DSXL.

What would be the easiest option? Seems there are so many ways to go and after searching threads I am even more confused!


For me I will probably only play 3ds titles. For her though she will play 3ds on her 3dsxl and DS on her old DS.

Use NTRBoot to install cfw and then restore then flashcart back to normal.
