Gaming Which piracy checks does Pokemon Platinum have?

You can try as many times as you want, but it won't change anything. You won't be able to do the interview.

On a similar note to this, what happens if you try to connect to the nintendo wifi network while running the game as a rom?

Like, the global trading system and such. Assuming you haven't used any cheats, you're just playing the game like normal.

I did the "Wii Message Settings" thing before the game was even supposed to be out. Worked fine, but I didn't get the code on my Wii (they obviously hadn't enabled it yet)
Online features work fine.

Everything in the game works fine for me so far, Platinum has no piracy checks.

Are you hitting 'A' on the top box before you try to select your words? You have to select the empty box before you can change the words...

Not to be rude, but if your one of the only one having this problem (I haven't encountered it either), it's likely a user mistake, or you have a bad dump (?)...

is it possible to buy the game in the netherlands? I mean hell I'm a pirate and I found it worth it to buy this game. But otherwise like everyone said it should be almost identical to diamond and pearl(same exact engine ffs).
