Since my question is related to the same one in this thread I'll just ask it here. I have a O3DS that's on 4.5.0-6.0U FW. I post the question here because this is about the R4i Gold 3DS here. What files do I need from here to update/use the flashcart? I ordered my R4i Gold 3DS from ModchipsDirect.

Which firmware do I need? Is it the Firmware 4.0b2 or another one? I also assume the Wood Kernel is also best to use? Which upgrade patch do I need? Is it the The new patch for 3DS V4.5.0-10 & DSi V1.45 since I'm on 4.5 FW?

I know this is being posted in the DS flashcart section even though I'm going to be using the R4i Gold on my 3DS. I think it's best to post it here since this is just a DS flashcart & not a 3DS flashcart. Thanks!

I just received my R4i Gold 3DS is the mail today. I don't want to screw up anything. I need to know which FW do I need for my flashcart & if this works any differently since I'm on the 3DS instead of the DS. I will be using the flashcart for two purposes:

1. Installing mset profile exploit and/or other things like CFW for my 3DS(3DS currently running 4.5 FW).
2. Running DS Roms & media like music & movies as well as other homebrew.
