Gaming Which Custom Firmware?

Which Custom Firmware for PSP should I get? I have the PSP 1000. My current firmware is 5.00 M33-6. Should i update to 5.50 GEN? What is better 5.00 M33-6 or 5.50 GEN B?? Which has better Game Compatibility as well as homebrew? I know that you can't go on the PSP store with 5.00 M33-6 that why I kind of want to get 5.50 GEN. Is it worth it?

if you need to use the PSN 5.00 m33-6 CANT use it so use GEN
hombrew Compatibility is better on 5.00 m33-6
5.00 m33-6 plays all the game that i need

so
if you REALLY need to use the PSN use GEN
but if not
5.00 m33- 6 is fine

Yeah pretty much GEN only beats M33 in the online department. If you don't care about the PSN, then you should definitely go with M33.
