First, you do not "jailbreak" the Nintendo Switch. You only jailbreak iOS products. Secondly, since some of TX's members are behind bars and ReiNX has been officially archived, Atmosphere is your only choice unfortunately.

Jailbreak means to modify (a smartphone or other electronic device) to remove restrictions imposed by the manufacturer or operator, e.g. to allow the installation of unauthorized software.

PS3 had a jailbreak so no it's not limited to only iOS

That is only for the PS3. I do not see one for any of the other Playstation consoles nor the Nintendo devices either.

jailbreak did only relate to IOS devices, after everyone saw geohot and the ps3 everyone started to use the word for any device mod. it was better when each device had it's own name, "jailbreak" has just became a generic word for modding
