which of the following protection method allows for the DS Lite to still close all the way? I heard even the Joytech leaves a slight gap, is that true?

also which one of these keep it the least bulky (still fits into your jeans pocket)?

- Joytech Armorlite
- Madcatz Showcase
- Dragon Guard Mask (http://www.kickgaming.com/ndslite-guard-mask-black-p-119.html)
- Generic Crystal Clear Case with Silicon Insert (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6826)
- Generic Crystal Case from dealextreme.com (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4425)
- Generic Crystal Case from gameyeeeah.com (http://www.gameyeeeah.com/nds-lite-crystal-case-p-333.html)

All of them should (Though the dragon guard mask and the general cases may not). The Joytech and Madcatz clear cases definitely do.

The Dragon Guard Mask does not leave a gap what so ever I have one and I don't like it at all not my first preference, currently I am using a silicone guard but it leaves a major gap when closed.

I think I've read some feedback about it not fitting properly, but they were able to exchange it at the store they bought it from

You could try filing down the clips so that the DS can close all the way. But mind you, I think there is a reason for that feature.

has anyone done that with success? i read in a different thread (the one about using skin + clear case) that he filed the clips down and rely on the skin to make the case stick on. will i be able to keep the case on if i don't have skin to go with it?

also is this pretty much the same problem that all cases with clips will have?

what would be the recommended tool for filing/sanding the clips down. i don't want to crack the plastic or make it look weird or anything.
