Hacking Which burner ???

hello

i have an lg GSA-4082B burner!!
i tried 5 isos but rawdump 2.0 dont show the right discname and gives an error!!!

what can i do?

new burner or what?

i burn with 4x on vebratim but i think its the book type thing??

i tried imgburn and cant change the booktype!!

i have a 4082b at work and even with the newest firmware i can't write dvd-rom booktype dvd+r's. Do you also use +R?

I'm copying all my games to -R just to be sure, my wiinja arrives tuesday (i hope) so better be ready

no one seemed to notice but he said rawdump won't see disc right? Rawdump doesn't burn disc. So are you trying to copy a disc to your hard drive or copy a game from your harddrive to a disc(aka burn the game)?

oh haha i thought he ment that he had burned some downloaded iso's and was trying to check them with rawdump

edit: wait a minute, is it even possible to rip with that burner? mine isnt really friends with rawdump 2.0

and a LG GDR-8164b

burn with the 4082b and try to read it with the 8164b with raw dump!!!!

I believe there is no way to change the booktype on the LG 4082B but if there is a way then this guy, Alexander Noe's program is it. Check out the Bitsetting utility.
It works on some LG drives that cannot be set with burning software such as ImgBurn.

I just bought the GSA-H42N which got great reviews. Should work as good as yours

Do your discs now show up in Rawdump correctly?
