Which are the best ALPS Touchpad drivers?

As Porobu said, there is no universal driver. Though every component is similar to the other, they are all wired in different ways which make it nearly impossible for the original manufacture to develop one single driver to rule them all. There may be utilities that can scan for certain devices and then download the right driver (eg Broadcom Bluetooth driver update utility) but there will probably never be one single driver for a certain peripheral.
