anyone know where to get one , on most sites like amazon are out of stock , even the 512 gb one and 256 is too low in my opinion , want to be ready for when i got switch 2 to system transfer all and need an high capacity one ( also because most newer games will be in shitty game key card i suppose ) , thanks in advance

in gamestop shipping is not available either , the amazon one is not an sd express
also walmart brand Onn also has one (sold in stores) only has up to 512gb for now you can get a 256 for $35
the walmart onn too for 512 gb is out of stock , seems will be harder find these in stock for months , sad , 256 gb is too low , especially because of the game key cards , i know certain of those games are available on other consoles/pc but i prefered playing in portable

512gb is going to be your best option. Even when the 1tb Lexar cards will be available in Sept, you gonna end up fighting others for it... b/c well they are on high demand and only Lexar will have that capacity. I had Walmart deliver the 512gb to my house a few days ago.

The interesting thing is that we still need to have an a express card in order for the Switch 2 to patch/unlock it. Updating the system without it isn't enough.

the 1tb lexar card wont be available til mid july which is their next restock they posted on twitter.. only those who preordered it on amazon when it was briefly available a few months ago will get them before that

Compatible with portable gaming devices, smartphones, and tablets. NOT compatible with Nintendo-Switch 2

Correct it's microSD XC
Nnnnnope! That's normal XC with 8x slower r/w we all know and love.
Yes and so not what OP has asked for, which is what confused me. :D

Just a heads up talking about the micro sd express cards when I bought my Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle I decided to buy the original san disc black express card which it says works on a Switch 2. When I put it in the Switch 2 it kept saying the card was not compatible I tried it again and again with no joy so I assumed it was faulty I sent it back and got the official San Disc 256GB Nintendo express card instead through the post this morning which worked straight away no problems. Now I don’t know if it was the card being faulty or it just didn’t work with the Switch 2

It was this one I originally bought

in case i finally find a 1tb one , is enough moving all files from an old one to the 1tb one for the switch 2 to recognize everything , want be sure to not lose anything when upgranding , thanks , hopefully now that we're on july lexar sd will be available to being purchased soon

Wow you are a trooper those 1TB Express cards cost like £300-£400 nearly more than the Switch 2 itself

because of the shitty game key cards or digital only games we're basically forced to get the maximum capaticity sd available , when on stock btw are not more than 200 dollars , hopefully future games will be on cards entirely ...
