Does anyone know where "wiikey.cn" went?
I looked at "who is" and I think it told me that there Domain Name was up sometime in January 2008 and it did not say it was renewed as of yet.
Does anyone have fact to state or any legit info to pass on?
Also, if there is no more wiikey web page. Where can we get updates? Does anyone know if one of the open-source programs can work or can be converted over to work with the WiiKey? I'm lost with out any info or updates and this just comes after I got my chip. Ugg.

I just went there and I got a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page. They probably reinstalled Linux on their server and are in the process of restoring everything.

Just an educated guess though.

Once the web page went down the Red Hat Test Page replaced it and has been that way sense. I hope it is just a restore.

Its gone for good, unless they change their mind.
They got consistently DDOS'd, and eventually got a take down notice from you know who.

They will still support their chip of course if it need an update. But not through wiikey.cn - but through scene websites.

The above 2 comments are great. Really.

Their site went down regularly before. Nothing's going to happen.

But surely you're ignoring the facts?

'lol this isnt a good sign'

Surely the voice of reason? I've heard this from TWO sources. Wiikey is DOOMED.

What have you heard? And what do you mean DOOMED? Please let us in on this info. I want to see what to expect for the future. Thanks.

That was just sarcasm.

Does that take them a month?
Because i have seen that page a month ago to

Their hosting company took their site down due to legal threats so they are contemplating either getting a new hosting company or setting up something else with support...

I heard the Chinese government is controling the wiikey.cn website, is it true?

huh.gif

No, it isn't.
