where did my hard drive space go?

ok i need some help im confused here. i downloaded around 1TB worth of games. its split up like this 413GB of it is PSN/PKGI games and 459GB of it is folder style games, i installed the 413GB packages games using the built in package installer and both multiman irisman and the ps3 via the system info on the XMB tell me i have only 181 gigs of free space left what am i missing here? i should have enough space left my on HDD to install my folder style games should i not?

maybe a dumb question but what hdd size is your hdd i didnt get that out of your first post

i sorted it out with a checking of the ps3 filesystem

A tip: I did this and it unlocked 10GBs off my 160GB.

Deleting unneeded language audio/video files can also free up large amounts of space, depending on game.
