I don't care if it's fat or slim or whatever, I just want one. Any cheap sites?
gbatemp.net is a good site for buying consoles, you should check it out.
and you could always try a pawn shop or craigslist if you want to buy local.
If you're willing to do a bit of soldering, look for a broken PS2 slim on eBay, but make sure the only thing wrong with it is that the power light wont turn green/ turns on for only a second. Open it up and solder the part, it only takes a few minutes (look on youtube). You should be able to get one pretty cheap if you do this. I got one for €20 and it works fine. Buying used is your cheapest option.
Would $50 for a slim PS2 (the fat one is $50 aswell) from GameStop be worth the money?
Yes that seems like a good price.
Get it from Cash Converters though (if you have that shop at America)
Dumpster dive at a local Gamestop or similar store. That's where I got two of my PS2s, one fat, one slim, I just found the fat like 2 months ago too, so your chances are still relative. As for the cost, well it's free!
Wait, would they take a GameCube with a burned out laser? That could help bring my payment down oh $8.
i am selling a use slim you know
I see PS2s and original XBOXs in thrift stores all the time for $25.
i see them for $15-$25 slim and phats with controllers and games
Hehe, i got my ps2 compatible ps3 for 50 XD
