* SD card compatibility: Some SD cards are incompatible with our current code. We are currently investigating . You will know this to be the case if the installer successfully writes the bootmii/ files to SD, but when you try to boot with the SD card in your Wii, you get a brief drive flash and then go directly to the system menu. If this happens, the USBGecko output may be helpful, and you should try a different SD card."

Does mine and most of the ppls Wiis I've helped set up. I've only had my hands on 1 that won't. And it will work in some way on all for everything apart from brick protection

I remember when I lost all interest in my wii when my chipping failed and I couldn't make guitar hero customs work, then randomly one day I decided to come back to GBATemp and as luck would have it it was on the day Backup Launcher got leaked.

Course, the original backup launcher was pretty useless for guitar hero, since it lagged every 2 seconds. But when gamma came out I was like OMGOMGOMGOMG.

And now I love my wii again; and it's aaaall thanks to homebrew
