Metroid looked amazing on GC & Wii I can't wait to see it in HD. There are rumors flying around like crazy about a Zelda for Wii U being announced this year and released next year more than likely.

1. Zelda
2. Metroid
3. Castlevania.

When?
yes, when will CONTRA,GRADIUS,R-TYPE ,EINHANDER ,RAY-CRISIS,G-DARIUS come to wii-U nintendo have a excellent chance to move the wii-U solid with those games. it be like second coming of SNES 2 im tired of first person shooter and online multiplayer games. im at the point of throwing my ps3 in the trash can or trade it for wii-U ....

im with Engert side scrolling must make a come back original side scrolling METROID,CASTLEVANIA,DONKY KONG,CONTRA,GRADIUS,R-TYPE,RAY-CRISIS, G-DARIUS,EINHANDER,CLAY FIGHTER in HD graphic oh' boy ol boy.

No it's WiiWare, it's made to look like a game from the 16bit era, Konami released Gradius and Contra Rebirth too, be sure to check 'em out.

Okay. So, after spending $250 on Wii points this weekend on wiiware (i used this guide ) i can say that besides the games that you mentioned, i also like Swords and Soldiers because i'm a huge fan of Sid Meier's Civilizations.

So, thank you for pointing out WiiWare.

Now when the hell is Zelda coming out? Or a good side scroller like Metroid M?

have you tried writing to reggie fil-aims nintendo of america ceo asked him directly??? im sure you can google nintendo of america and get the company mailing address. i have no reply yet.

Like they give a shit what I or other people have to say. They just look at their monthly gross charts.

The first two are inevitable, I'd like know when will we see Tales of Graces F optimized for Wii U since the game was an originally a Wii title it makes good sense to port the PS3 version over and add Wii U specific content and game pad utilization.

Games I have in mind that would really fit Wii U audiences pretty much absence genres on the original Wii:

RPG:

Mistwalker original RPG title for the Wii U
Mistwalker Blue Dragon sequel for the Wii U
Namco original RPG title for the Wii U
Namco porting and optimizing Tales of Xillia series for the Wii U
Square Enix original RPG title for the Wii U
Square Enix Chrono Trigger sequel for the Wii U
Square Enix porting and optimizing Star Ocean: The Last Hope International and Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the Wii U

2D Fighting:

Capcom Tatsunoko vs. Capcom sequel for the Wii U
Capcom porting Street Fighter x Tekken and Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the Wii U
Atlus porting BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena to the Wii U
SNK/Playmore King of Fighters sequel for the Wii U

Sports:

EA Sports NHL series and NHL Slapshot sequel for the Wii U (I'm Canadian eh!)

Personally for me if the Wii U get all the above then I'm pretty much set for the Wii U software, Nintendo can provide the rest of the AAA titles...

Nothing about Metroid yet which sucks. And I doubt we'll see any announcement of a new Metroid any time soon. Not even at E3 2013. But we'll see.
I dunno, Retro's new game could be Metroid Prime for the Wii U.

My guess is Nintendo is going to have FMV video of Metroid for the Wii U at E3 2013 since Nintendo could really use it to attract current Wii owner's looking to upgrade and also core gamers from the 360/PS3 crowd.

NO MORE VIDEO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO MORE UN-SKIP-ABLE VIDEOS!!!!!!

No choice, Nintendo is a perfectionist company they're not going to show a demo if it's half baked even if they have one prepared.
