You should try to have an even amount of ram and in the right channel so it's DDR2
DDR2 533 = PC4200 (sometimes called PC2 4200)

It's fine really. IN fact, she paid for it because of my god grades this semester :3 So I didn't have to pay a single cent. I installed today; very very easy. However, I only notice a very slight difference. I thought it would make a huge impact since I went from 512Mbs to 2Gbs, but I guess not.
