Hacking When is your Wii Mod-chip arriving?

Well, UPS tells me that mine will arrive on 6th February. I can't wait. I'm off to buy a new soldering iron (30W) over the weekend and some lead free silver solder (1mm). Oh yes, also on the list are a Heatsinc, a new DVDRW+- and a triwing attachment for my screwdriver.

Can't wait!

I've been told its better to use a 15W soldering iron for soldering modchips, I have a 26W one, and it was ok to solder but I guess 15W would be perfect

I ordered a Wiinja from PTchip some days ago, but they are only dispatching them on the 5th.

I just pre-ordered 3 Cyclowiz chips from modchipman. There is no shipping date on their site. It simply says: "CYCLO-WIZ IS ON PREORDER. PLEASE CHECK WWW.TEAMCYCLOPS.COM FOR THE ETA. I got like 10 or so hehe

And a PIC12F629 that is rewritable, if anyone convert the code later...

Ordered supplier gets stock on the 5th of Febuary so probly on the 6th-7th of Feb then a friend will install for me .

Not a first-time solderer, but hopefully a first-time-successful-mod

Ruined a PSOne a few years back because my iron was too hot and I lifted a tansistor off its pad

This would be my first time solder, but i didn't order the modchip yet...I'm always a bit of a skeptic until proven wrong (not by maxconsole however).
