Homebrew when i use quick boot settings to quickly launch mocha, how often doors it need to write data?

Based on this thread (step 5).

When i select quick boot, it wants to write data every so often. If i set it to 1 hour the wii u will check recently used apps every hour?.

Will i be ok setting it to every 24 hours? Or will that mean it won't always boot to quick boot menu?
