Hardware What's wrong with the building quality?

It's because
1: Americans expect perfection from everything since they have a whacked out sense on entitlement.
2: There's a huge number of consoles out there, and everyone who you see talking about hardware issues are the people with defective units. It's about scale.

I'm american I expect things to break ( cause they always do ) and be poorly made cause I see how the world is going to hell in a hand basket every single day. So I must be the exception to the rule then huh?

For now, all we know is that many users are complaining about their new systems having a lot of hardware-related issues.

It's because

Ouch. Honestly I don't believe in anything being perfect and I have nothing to complain about for the 3DS other than the lack of DS-mode stretch-to-fit.

You can always make use of your warranty, but it's not nice to return your brand new system just because it's full of problems out of the box. It also gives Nintendo a bad reputation.
Have you had any other issues with your Nintendo 3DS that haven't been mentioned here? ._.

I hate that ,my DSi XL sounds higher than my 3DS

The 3DS, just as the DSi(XL), can be upgraded like a psp (if you know, anyways), so they can release firmware updates that will fix those kinds of issues.

I don't think you understand what I was referring to. The Hinge problem has no effect on the software, thus it is hardware unfixable by software where as the antenna did affect software making it possible to be fixed by software. They're very different cases.

Well Nintendo has sold more than thousands of the 3DS. They (Pre-ordered over 1.2 Million) expected to have sold over 2 Million by April 4th. My unit is just fine, my sons is just fine. So far the quality of all my Nintendo products have been supurb as well the quality of their games. Personally I can't complain, though I know there are some people that have had problems.
