Hacking whats the newest ios version?

i have ios249 right now and i'm wondering if there is a new version out yet with better support for the backup loader
when i try to play resident evil 4 pal with forced ntsc, the game runs perfectly but there's this one spot that freezes then wii gives me error message.
also when i play trauma center new blood pal with forced ntsc, it gives me a green screen
i checked http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/Backup_Launcher and it says they should both run perfectly.
would a new ios version help me out or am i just screwed?
