PS1/2 What to buy?

Ok, so I am finally allowed to buy a PS3 but I don't know which one.

If I am buying a 60Gb, it is ofcourse secondhand, the other ones aren't
Here are the pros and cons of all versions
60Gb:
Pros:
- PS2 compatability,
- That nice gloss I love

- Price, for 250 euro's I get 2 games with it
Cons:
- Doesn't have guarantee

Fat:
Pros:
- That nice gloss I love

- Price, I can get a new one for about 275 euro's with a game included
- Has full guarantee
Cons:
- No Playstation 2 compatability

Slim:
Pros:
- Not as big as the original
Cons:
- No Playstation 2 compatability
- No linux

If you know anything else not mentioned here, please tell me.

Well they will release anyway a PS2 Emu or so (was said in this leaked Sega paper) so the PS3 backwards compatibility shouldn´t be matter. And gurantees from Sony are anyway crap you will most likely need to pay for a repair no matter why it was broken it´s at least the case with the PSP mechanical and electrical faults are not under the gurantee (how it could be else break !? kind of stupid).
So if you don´t need Linux just get a PS3 Slim

i have a fat ps3 40gb which im going to sell it to my friend for £180 then with that money buy a slim...

dont care of the ps2 compatibility or linux because i dont use them and dont need them (there was rumor that sony is going to release ps2 and dreamcast games on psn for download)..
+ 40gb is too small....it gets filled up too quickly (you can always upgrade the hhd but it cost) so 120gb slim is gud for me...+ you get a dualshock 3 controller which others dont have( separately it cost around £40)

If you're not worried about PS2 BC and running Linux, get the Slim, if you are, get the 80GB.
