ROM Hack What speed do you get with DSFTP?

I've just got DSFTP up and running in the laziest way possible; pasted the .nds onto my flashcart, run it, and put the user, pass and IP into my PC FTP client, which is CuteFTP. To test it, I'm copying colors.nds onto my PC, and it's going at about 36 kbps. That's bits, not bytes. What kind of speed do you get? Is there a way to make it faster? Everyone says that DSFTP eliminates the need to take out the flashcard when you want to load a new ROM, but at this speed, it's just not feasible.

You make good points, I gave uup on DSFTP because the speeds were so sloooooooooow.
