nope i went in to the store and they didnt sell psp's but i got one with the carrying case and a game and a charger for 45 on ebay

Will work, but you have less RAM than a 2k or 3k. Not that you really need said RAM.

Ugh! Too small. I would go with PSP 1001 or PS Vita that emulating PSP games through exploit.

I'll be so happy if someone makes a microSD->vitaMC adapter and TN-V for HENkaku. A full PSP on the TV would be awesome, and at least for the PSTV, an external adapter wouldn't bother the user.

tbh, at this point, i'd maybe wait a little longer and see how the vita scene develops. they're not that much more expensive these days.
because the psp, while good for most games, still doesn't run all gba and snes games without issues.

Main problem with the Vita is paying for the memory card, getting a 64GB one is around $100

i got mine for nearly free (10 bucks for another donor one)

so spend about 10-15$ for parts.
(had brought a replacement screen but found a functional psp with original screen for about the same)

if u want portable as in pocket portable go for psp go. if u want portable plus better handling go for either psp 2000 or 3000
