I have a jailbroken Super Slim PS3 for PS2 emulation, so I can't use stuff like Multiman, and other emulators. So I'm running natively, it only has a blurry "smooth" solution that I even debate if I want to switch on, since I care barely see shit on the screen already with the pixelated mess.
Now the question I have are what can we actually improve on a jailbroken PS4 other than framerate when running the games? For example the GTA Trilogy renders at about 480i on PS2, while the PS2 Classic uprenders (Not upscales) to roughly 900p, some games seem to go all the way to 1080p. So basically it takes the native resolution of the PS2 game and just renders it 4x the pixel count, so resolutions between the games varies, since many run at different resolutions, but the basic feature is 4x the pixel count.
Is this resolution change a feature of the PS2 Classics that are official from Sony, or is this a built in feature that all PS2 games running on their emulator can use?
Are there any resolution ISO changers, or Widescreen changers. I've checked the widescreen ISO patches, and they support only a handful of games that I own remasters on PS3/PS4 anyways.
I only use the hacked consoles for PS2 emulation, since I don't pirate games, I collect physical releases cause it's a hobby. I even ordered 23 PS2 games off ebay in the last few months, even if I play ripped ISOs on emulation.
Anyways brothers and sisters, what can I do on a PS4.
