So, ive downloaded the entire series to date of Heroes

I wanna burn them to discs, three discs and episode
but i wanna make menu's and what not, like a proper DVD

Im using Roxio atm, but i cant fit more than 1 episode on a disc
which is crazy cus a DVD is 4.7GB and a episode is 333MB!!

Anyone know any program that i could use instead?

i wann be able to have a custome background, and be able to move the icons for each episode anywhere on the screen, and fit three episodes toa disc

    cheers people, much apriciated

Buy a cheap Divx dvd player (you can find them for 50$). No conversion required and you'll be able to put 12 episodes on one DVD with no conversion needed whatsoever. And also no quality loss.

DIVX players are quickly going to be outdated if people are going to be using H264 as the new codec.... oh well.

Nero is probably the most capable DVD\CD burner. Though it costs about $50 it's worth the cash. I'm not sure if Alcohol 120% is capable of performing that task, but you should probably try anyways.

VSO ConvertXtoDVD is what I use to convert my xvids to dvd format also, it also lets you set up a simple menu.

I favour HCEnc and whatever menu creation options of various DVD releated apps I can lay my hands on (and make the effort to use), however if you do not sell like learning a whole bunch of stuff then DVD Flick is for you:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvdflick/

If you feel like learning something:
Other apps for menu creation, for mpeg2 authoring (free ones at least which are fine quality wise) I suggest HCEnc ( http://www.bitburners.com/HC_Encoder/ ) or QuEnc ( http://www.bitburners.com/QuEnc/ ):

    dvd author:
    http://dvdauthor.sourceforge.net/
    dvd author GUI
    http://download.videohelp.com/liquid217/dvdauthorgui.pl
DVD planner is a very nice app (both free and paid version)
    http://www.dvdplanner.com/index.php?option...forms&Itemid=75
DVD rebuilder (not for this sort of thing):
    http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/
    IFOedit:
    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/IFOEdit.htm
Quenc has basic DVD authoring although no menu:
    http://www.bitburners.com/QuEnc/
PCGedit (fairly advanced but very good)
    http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/

That should be enough to get you started.
