Gaming What netbook to get?

I can get a 1000HE shipped for 474$, there's also a Mini 9 available for 420$ shipped.
I hate choices.

that 54 dollars gets you a full 160 GB hard drive (which can be replaced with any normal laptop hard drive) a bigger screen, arguably the best keyboard found on a netbook (as opposed to arguably the worst), a wifi driver usable with aircrack (WEP cracking), and a lot more battery life. Basically imo the PATA interface for the Mini 9 is reason enough not to get it, expandability options are limited (and the prefab options are none too great either) compared to those with a w/e the newer, more used standard is. If you want a smaller size, get a 900HA, if you rather have a near full keyboard and a larger screen with an obscene amount of battery life - go with the 1000HE

As far as SSD vs hard drive, unless you have big bucks to spend (getting a spendy drive), go with a hard drive, they are faster (unless you go for the spendy SSDs), consume around the same amount of power, and they aren't nearly as prone to failure as many make them out to be (dont get me wrong, if you are hooking it up to a jackhammer, go for a SSD)

even though my favorite color is blue I would still go with black, it looks sleek

different colors tend to make it look like a child's toy computer or something, idk lol

same reason I went with black for my DSL over the colbolt/black

I wasn't really a fan of the black used on the glossy ASUS EEE chassis' - black looks kinda cheap in my opinion (haven't seen blue though). I just went with a skin for the back of the lcd from www.skinit.com - they have a very nice customize tool

I saw clear blue plastic cases also online that go over the computer and snap onto it
gives it a fairly nice look without replacing the whole entire case and also protects it from niks scratches and such in the process

I have one for my phone also

Yeah, as others have said, you may want to get something to cover it... the glossy part gets full of fingerprints even if you take good care of it.

If you get a Dell Mini 9, get it here. About 30% cheaper

. I've ordered from them before, and you can get them to wave shipping fees if you try hard

Update:
Thanks to everyone who posted here -- I am now a proud owner of a blue eeePC 1000HE

Windows XP works very well, so does Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04. Will triple boot with Mac OS X soon.

Will post pictures in blog à-la-War soon enough.
