Just thought I'd ask this because of system requirements for older games and I am getting mixed answers from people.
Core 2 duo P9700 @ 2.8ghz and the Core i3 350m
Core 2 duo P9700 @ 2.8ghz and the Core i3 350m
are you looking for equivalent to get it? or equivalent so you can get better? i'm not sure either, but i'm confused at why you want to know this
those are desktop cpus.
No one really bothered to bench mobile cpus against laptop cpus.
The closest you are going to get is something like looking here.
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i3-350M+@+2.27GHz&id=743
Which puts the i3-350m at 1900 average. Which puts even an old an old ahtlon ii x2 as being on par with it. The p9700 scores around the same.
For various reasons, those results are not entirely reliable, but are the best you are going to get with such a strange comparasion.
http://www.game-debate.com/cpu/inde...-duo-p9700-2-8ghz-vs-core-2-duo-e6700-2-66ghzWhat I mean is for example this laptop has the core 2 duo p9700 but my question is what is the performance of it compared to the old core 2 duo E6700 which is not a laptop cpu like the p9700 is are they equal or one worse than the other in terms of gaming?
