Misc what is needed to play online with sofmod wii?

Hello, i softmoded my wii a few years ago, now i wanna put internet on it to play my backup games online. Once i get online my wii will auto update? or it will ask me to? If it does auto update what can i do to avoid it?

As said above you would benefit greatly from installing and making use of Priiloader/Preloader and enabling the hack to disable all possible System Menu updates and Disc updates (though if you only use backups, you might not need to enable to option to disable disc updates as most wii backup programs will remove the update partition entirely)

Basically priiloader to block wii online updates and make sure that disc updates are too blocked.
