Hacking What happened to the SSBB exploit?

the only way i can see big n even stopping hb is to program the wii to detect any dol or elf file and delete it even if you reinstall it will delete it every time. lets hope they never figure out how to do that

I just find it funny that all of the exploits being found (Twilight, Galaxy, Brawl), are all first-party properties of Nintendo. You'd think that they would be on top of making an exploit-proof game, but this is just silly.

Metroid maybe, but I doubt anyone over 10 years old plays Mario Party, given the current quality of the series.

Thing is, we don't *need* it right now. As of current, Bannerbomb works on all Wii consoles. Why shoot ourselves in the foot and release another exploit that can give Nintendo an early heads up for repair? Nope, keep it in the reserve bank until it is needed.

even if they delete HBC, you can just use the SSBB exploit to install bootmii. Then we have full control, and there is nothing they can do.

Completely wrong... There are two types of exploits for wii, ppc exploits through which you can execute ppc code and ios exploits which you can do things like install content otherwise not possible to install and such...

All these exploits recently found namely bannerbomb and ssbb exploits are ppc exploits meaning you can only run ppc code...(only homebrew) unless you have an ios exploit that is not fixed in the next update you'll have hard time installing stuff into the nand or using programs

And about the full control, actually not at all, to protect bootmii you should avoid any boot2 updates which may seem unlikely but still possible... I give a 99% possibility that the next update will contain a new boot2.
