Hacking What file is the firmware?

Hi Guys,

I have just ordered my SCL and SuperKy from Cheapmod, hopefully they will arrive tomorrow... fingers crossed.

In advance of this I have downloaded the latest version of the software from the Supercard site.

However when I extract the contents of the zip file I cannot see a file called upgrade.bin.

There is a file called upgrade.scu (it is about 196 Kbytes in size). Can anyone tell me if this is actually the 1.63b firmware file and if I have to rename it to .bin or will it work as it is?

Older versions of the supercard use upgrade.bin, the supercard lite uses the upgrade.scu file.

It's perfectly fine

I thought it would be, but as always it's best to check first.

All I need to do now is wait for the kit to arrive - Cheapmod have got their stock, just got to hope that they can get mine out the door with the backorders they have.

Hi, I just received my Supercard Mini SD and I want to upgrade, but when I press on the sc_163.bin file, it boots in gba mode :S. Someone who can help me?
