- The sense of accomplishing something. Not everyone can crack a PC game or make a keygen for a program
- The fame. Release groups get a lot of respect
- Topsites - If you are scene member, you will probably have access to a topsite. Nothing can compared to the awesomeness of a topsite (I would know, I have access to one myself)
- Challenge - People like reverse engineering stuff, and people see pirating games and software as a challenge.
