For various reasons, I need to uninstall Modmii. Not because it's malfunctioning though. It's working wonders.

I just need it uninstalled the safest way possible.

Does anyone know how I can do so?

Thanks!!

Sorry, I meant that I was wondering how to uninstall Modmii from my Wii.

Or, how I can remove the softmod, and turn it back into a Wii with only factory settings?

You cant 100%. And virginazing a Wii is quite risky.

It can be done with ohneswanszenegger by Giantpune by making a 'new' nand.
Only bootmii Will be left on the Wii.
Only recommended if you have a boot2v3 capable Wii.

* If you only want to restore your cios for factory stubbed ones, you can also use modmii to download your files and just install stubs
* You could delete all channels/ modded files with anytitle deleter/ Wiimod 3.0 and do a official ninty update.
* you could uninstall the cios with a wad manager ( uninstalling the ones you installed with Modmii, ONLY CIOS! )

All are risky if you have'nt got a cleu what you are doing. make sure you have brick protection!

But their is no real reason to do this as softmods are not harmfull in any way when used modmii. No official ios are altered, cIOS are only added to the Wii.

Actually quite a few official IOS's are modded (the System Menu ones for example), but it doesn't hurt anything to have a patched IOS, despite what some people think.

If bootmii is still on the Wii its not 100% factory clean :P

Official update.
If you have already updated boot2 to v4, then you can't get rid of it. There is no way to re-install the same version boot2, and it can't be downgraded.

Then you're wrong.
Found the link, but the pictures have been deleted.:

I can't verify this though, but if he is wrong (and you can figure out the article without the pictures), would you mind explaining why?

I already have, you obviously weren't paying attention.
The short version: he's a n00b who can't tell the difference between Bootmii's fakesigned signature and Boot2's real signature.

Lol, that was over 6 months ago, and I can't remember every post that I've read. Anyway, thanks for clearing it up (again).
