Hardware What do you dislike most about the 3DS?

I don't have mine yet but I'm sure the stylus holder position will totally wipe out my willing to take the stylus out because I'm right handed.

That will engage in a battle two of my enemies, fingerprints in my touchscreen and discomfort.

I guess I'll have to live with it. Since I like aestethics in my gadgets and fingerprints are damn disgusting.

after using a telescopic 3rd party stylus for my dsi, the 3ds stylus feels really short, but i don't really have much problem with it's place
the aqua blue color[green] is my favourite, the 3d is awesome - no eyestrains or headaches, analog's cool, everything else too

but as cool as the shiny casing look like, my cleaning cloth is on fire, i use it so much
the only two problem i had, which is pretty minor

I have a new annoyance - the 10 a day limit on play coins!

I have 99.3% completed Lego Star Wars, only thing left to get 100% is unlock two characters, both require 10 play coins each, I have already used my 10 coins for today on other characters, so now i need to wait two days to be able to 100% a game I have otherwise completed and could be trading in

I'm sure limit is to stop people abusing the system in some way, but when a game requires 30-40 play coins but can be completed in a day and a half it's a tad bit annoying

Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem when i start building up a supply of coins, and get close to the 300 limit.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with those points. Also, why Nintendo decided to put the top screen under a shiny (almost mirror-like) piece of plastic is beyond me. It might have helped if the displays would've been brighter, but that would've cut down the battery life even more. The region lock is a really bad (if not sick) joke because it's a portable console.

I hate how the 3DS doesn't have all the features talked about since launch. But that's just me. When something comes out, I expect it. Disappointed early adopter of most Nintendo products and this one seems to displease me most.
It's 2011, It doesn't have its own eShop or Internet channel? Come on Nintendo. You were always last to the party.
Does anyone know the specs of the WiFi? Is it it atleast 150N?
Also. Black bars? (NDS games) Scaling would be much better.
It's so annoying to see so much space not used on that wide screen! Most of the work is done on the top anyways!

I'm pretty happy with my 3DS right now, but it pisses me off that A) the launch lineup was pretty weak, with a distinct lack of Zelda, Mario or Starfox, and B) that even if decent games did show up I'm too poor to afford any

That and the sweet spot can be a little difficult to maintain when the games get busy. Or if I get an inch.

Playing DS/DSi games on it

It makes the game look worse then on my DSi XL
It even makes playing on a DSi XL look Great

Cause of the pixels on the 3DS are compacter to each other, the DS games look compressed
(in stretched and non stretched mode)

Alot of stuff not getting in the release OS
Launch line-up games are not so great
Price (but we knew that, not gonna complain, just worth mentioning)
Universal microusb to charge (like the smartphones), so i could charge all my stuff with 1 powersuply

Aqua Blue 3DS gets quickly filthy and full of very vissible fingerprints

I think the stylus position is weird to reach when you are already in the game, it would be better off at the side of the 3DS.
Also launch titles certainly

but that isnt really hardware related so yeah, waiting for the store to hit in May.
