Hallo guys, my question is: What do I need, besides a chip for my Wii, to play Backups? Because some people write about Trucha signed games and other software. I thought you just need to burn the iso and play away! Is the Wii picky about DVD-R brands? Is it like the wii loader where no names wont work? Or are chipped wiis less picky?

Thanks in advance

Hard-modded Wii's (with modchip) have no compatiblity issues with ISO's themselves, when you correctly burn a game you can be 99.99% sure it will work. The brand of the DVD can make a difference though, just make sure you use good quality ones. A lot of people recommend Verbatim. For me, TDK DVD+R discs work fine.
A truchasigned game means it's contents have been edited somehow. For example. a Guitar Hero disc with new songs. Wii's on firmware 3.3 will reject such discs, but using homebrew there is a work-around.

Arita DVD-R 8x speed works fine for me, 18 euro's for 100 dvd's!!!
