Something else, and IMO bigger, happened this October 1st: Dylan. The new compilation album with the best 51 fan-selected tracks, spanning 51 years of Bob Dylan's career. I'm listening to it right now, it's amazing. If you don't know jack about Bob Dylan's career, go get the single CD version. It's a great way to get introduced to his music as it has the, arguably, most popular songs.
