Hello. I have a o3dsXL with A9lh and Luma installed and on 11.2
I was trying to upgrade my SD card from 4GB to 16GB

First thing that happened is that i was using GUIformat for format it to 32K allocation and fat32.
it didn't boot.
Second thing i did was the Godmode method and then i copied everything again and it Booted!!

Themes were loading and the games were on the home menu, but every time i try to open them the 3ds bottom screen displays

"The SD Card was remove. Press the Home button to return to the Home menu"

it was not removed or such, please help

It's a bad fake SD card. Return it and report whoever sold it to you
This is why I always suggest buying in store.

You can buy from Amazon. 98% of time they are real when you get them from Amazon

If you get it from Amazon make sure it's from Amazon itself not a third party seller.
hi. i think i found the problem. the 3ds folder on the root of the sd card is always empty after i put it in my 3ds. maybe this causes the problem? the files inside are necessary for running the cfw, and without them it wont boot. but it seems that the system keeps deleting these files.

EDIT: it seems the 3ds has no relation in this, it seems that moving any files from the sd card is not saved, right now i did copy the files again to the 3ds folder, safely removed it to the pc and then inputted it again and i found out that the files are gone. and i checked all the other folder and they are also empty. this is so weird. fake sd cards do this?

yes, because you have a 128mb card made to look like a 16gb ..when you run a test make sure to read the results as well.

135.6 MByte OK (277835 sectors)
15.0 GByte DATA LOST (31632053 sectors)

What happens is the SD card has an actual capacity of 135MB. It *pretends* to have 15GB and 135MB. When you save files on the SD card that are in excess of 135MB, they are really stored on your computer's hard drive but the card makes it look like they are on it. So, if you try to read the files on a device that isn't your computer, the files aren't there.
