I keep getting a weird message on my phone. It's to install x site, like gbatemp. Clicking install doesn't do anything. I thought I had a picture of it, but I don't. It's random, and I'm not sure how to get rid of this. This all started after deleting my cache. I'm using Chrome btw.

Progressive web apps are the reason. It's like a standard to create a cross-compatible app as a website. Hard to explain so Google might be your best bet for a better explanation.

Some websites add an app forwarder instead of a shortcut (to a website) on your main screen on Android phones, have you added a shortcut lately or do you have any that should link to a website?

not that I know of. I just cleared the cache to get rid of a bunch of garbage. it happens on temp as well as cox. I don't normally go anywhere else to see if it's a problem. I do have ad-guard enabled.
