Hacking Weird issue with punchout

So I have a 4.0U Wii with the bannerbomb and hbc, backuploader .3 installed. The Cmos or whatever is rev 9


So I burned punchout to a dvd-r tdk disk using 16x speed on imgburn. The game was accquired via torrent so I know it's patched or w/e.


I can play the game fine except when I enter some modes like exibhition, the game freezes and I get an "Error the disk could not be read, please refer to wii operations manual"

What gives?

the error is because you brun the game like a bastard

Try to burn it again at 4x
Or use a USB loader, it can spare you some bad burns

I burned my punch out onto TY DVD-R at max speed and everything works fine try some different brand DVDs

i tried my burn of punch out at 16x. I had the exact same problem that you get. Went back, same media on the same burner, this time at 2.4x, also made sure said computer wasnt multitasking anything else major, now punch out works 100% of the time both off Backup Loader and USB Loader. USB Loader runs it better though, shorter load times.
