Alerdy has recently (well, a few weeks ago) discovered a way to make forwarders that boot the web browser into a certain web page!

These apps are modified versions of a 3DS SDK demo that boots into the web browser, but instead they automatically open a certain web page. They work very similar to the bootOpera forwarders on the Wii if you remember them!

So far, Alerdy has created a Twitter and a GMail forwarder and plans to write a tutorial on how to make your own forwarders soon! (Since these forwarders are made from an SDK demo, I cannot provide links to them. It wouldn't be snip to hunt them down yourself though.)

I DID NOT MAKE THIS

Who made this? I want to PM the dude to make a moflex player. Got a few SDK demos that play moflex videos that need SD access and a file browser. This CIA injection stuff is time consuming and I don't want launch NTR CFW everytime. Plus being able to select from multiple videos would be nice. :D

Alerdy. The guy who is running homemenu.co (You can find him on that discord)
And this is basically the same thing like the moflex injection. But injecting a Website into an app that would open a different website.
I doubt he could create a moflex player.

Oh. Well I am able to compile the SDK apps (I setup a virtual machine and got all the SDK stuff installed and working). So I suppose if someone does get something made I can compile it for them if they don't want to go through the trouble of setting up the compile environment for the official SDK. :P

The "seek" demo in the mobiclip sdk is probably the template to use for a moflex player. ;)

Alerdy created these forwarders. He's not on this site, but I don't think it would cause too much chaos to find him somewhere else. ;)

Isn't this not aloud? If you can't publish games or homebrew using the offical unity3DS/Nintendo SDK then how come this is?

I'm just wondering that's all, don't want to start an argument

It's not. There is a reason there are no links here.

If you talk about the SDK NDA in specific. No it's not allowed to give out files. (But leaking it is not allowed as well and people have done it.)
And only giving out the info on how to do these things could be seen as helping Developers who also use the SDK. This would be allowed.

Well if he has coding knowledge on SDK, he can contact me on forbidden site. I posted a request thread over there and I go by the same username. He knows how to find me if he is able to read this thread at least. :P

Ok, it's just the rules in this place confuse me a bit.
I mean you can't mention that 3DS website but you can mention this?

Both are wrong so why not the same rule?

If both are ambiguosly refferenced to, then it's allowed. The reader isn't directly linked to the site or given the exact name. Would it be better if we referred to both as "dongs" and "woolabum"?
