I have tried various web browsers on my laptop and most of them seem to suck in some way. IE6 was the most stable, IE7 is dog turd, Google Chrome is garbage, FireFox crashes like nuts when you have more then a few extensions and plug-ins installed for it. To the best of my knowledge only recently did Apple release Safari for download and it's free, you can use it on Windows and while I am not used to the font styles that I liked in IE6, it is much faster overall and I don't get an asinine amount of popups.

So does anyone have a favourite web browser.

Just don't install a milllion extensions. Only those you need.
Disable those you use once in a while and activate them that once in a while.

I only have about 5 active extensions right now.

I like IE7. It's not dog turd...

I also like using FireFox when I'm on my sister's computer account so I don't mess with her cookies.

I dont' like Google Chrome because it makes websites look really different and is a little too simple.

For Firefox

Adblock Plus + NoScript + Gmail Manager (there are alternatives for almost all email providers) = Amazing

I love Gmail manager because it updates me on my emails in real time for multiple accounts. The are also extensions that do that for other email providers.

firefox, its obvious that one of the extensions you are using is rather unstable, don't blame firefox for that. i have had more than 20 extensions installed and had firefox been stable.

theres not even a drop down box for typed in addresses but i still like Firefox
