So why doesn't someone mess around with Smash Bros 3ds demo to see what content is hidden in the game? It only makes sense...

I wouldn't... This is a very interesting time. It is a gamble. Prices are plummeting, but soon there may be no point to have a 4.5 3DS.

Though there is no "hidden content" besides bits about NFC and unused sounds [in the full game]. You can already look those up.

Is it possible to play as any characters through editing? Can you unlock the menus, stages, or characters?

No idea yet, working on all sorts of tinkering. That is likely to be the second part of our project, though first comes breaking encryption and designing basic type conversion

Sounds great, by any chance could you make this mod installable without gateway, and make it use the normal 3ds encryption?

why does it make sense? the full game might include the same left over stuff as the demo.
why worry about hacking the demo too? if you will be able to play a hacked version of the demo, you will be able to play a hacked version of the real game, right?

I figure maybe the demo might have so me unused stuff, so it would make sense to look into it. But hacking the full version is already imminent.

the demo isn't like a 'beta' version, it's just a limited version. (i think)
