Good day guys... It seems all the times playing botw and the game randomly craps out saying I unplugged the usb drive, and to restart the system was not just the wiiu being weak to power the 2.5, it was the drive was dying. A few months ago, I got to see the botw load screen but havnt been able to keep the drive running long enough.. It does seem like the drive is "working" when I plug it into a win10, so now im at a wall. I read a bit about the wfsdump, and about how there is no easy way to backup this drive and give it the boot if the wiiu menu isnt an option.

so i ask, what does wfsdump, and is that what I need (assuming I find another hdd to use) i guess im confused as to the step process, and what it actually will do. Does my dying drive go in wiiu or win10? does my "new drive" go in wiiu or win10? does it backup everything on the failing hdd over molasses speed?
