Hacking wbfs_file.exe cannot access USB HDD?

I am using Vista. Whenever I try to access my USB HDD, wbds_file.exe always reports error:

C:\>wbfs_file.exe H: ls
\\?\H:Error: (5) Access is denied.
could not open drive: No error

H is the USD HDD.

What could be the problem? WBFS Manager can access the USB HDD without any problem. Wii console can load games from that USB HDD without any problem either.

maybe try running CMD as an administrator or something...
Hmm, is the wbfs manager running too? Close that before running the wbfs_file command.

wbfs manager was not running.

Actually, none of the wbfs tools (Inteligent GUI, ..., and etc) works on my Vista box except WBFS Manager. I thought it might be Vista's problem. But if so, how can wbfs manager work?

I do like the simplicity and the features of wbfs_file.exe. Maybe I will dig into the source code when I have time.
